El logotipo de Chanel fue creado en el año 1919 y corresponde a  dos letras “C”entrelazadas de tipografía “sans serif futura”, mirando en diferentes direcciones, sus colores corporativos corresponden al blanco y al negro y se mantiene vigente hasta el día de hoy.

Su significado alude al nombre de la fundadora de esta cada de modas parisina: Gabrielle Bonheur “Coco” Chanel. Existen dos interpretaciones sobre su significado, la primera dice que cada “C” corresponde a las iniciales de Coco Chanel y la segunda que corresponden a las “C” de Coco.

¿Esta actualmente obsoleto este logotipo?

Yo creo que no, el aporte de él es tal que hace reconocida la marca y cambiarlo o modificarlo sería un error, como cambiar el logotipo de “coca-cola”, el cual también se ha mantenido sin variaciones desde su creación en 1886.

En las fotografías se puede observar que este logotipo es aplicable y reconocible en todo tipo de soportes.
